If you really want a Fallout fix, play Wasteland 2. Now on a personal note, i'd love to see Daggerfall, Battlespire & Reguard remade. So no, there will never be any remaster of any of these games, it's pointless. Oblivion is being remastered in Skyrims Engine too. Morrowind is being remade in Oblivions Engine, it's also being remade in Skyrims Engine.
Just like Fallout 1 is being remade in the NV engine. Including VA's and Inon Zur etc.ĥ) Fallout 3 & New Vegas are already being remade in the Fallout 4 engine, by fans. So for people that say 'Obsidian would do Fallout better' or 'Obsidian would have done Fallout 4 better' No, that is not the case, they're completley different people now, only thing that's still the same is the name Obsidian.Ĥ) There's a lot of legal stuff too, they'd need to make deals and buy liscenes for every song or asset they use that they didn't make themselves. There's no developer there anymore that has worked on any Fallout game.
1) Bethesda owns it, not Obsidian, not their callĢ) Bethesda said they won't remaster any of their gamesģ) The entire team that worked on new Vegas at Obsidian is gone.
